Daniel leads the Firm's Oil & Gas, Banking, Finance & Capital Markets Practice Groups. He is a seasoned lawyer with demonstrable experience in Dispute Resolution (Arbitration, Mediation and Litigation). He has represented clients before various Courts and tribunals in Nigeria, including the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
Additionally, Daniel has advised high-profile individuals, multinational corporations and indigenous companies on landmark, complex and market-defining transactions across diverse areas of law. He recently advised on the merger of two companies, one of which is the third-largest publicly quoted manufacturing company in Nigeria.
Daniel holds membership in several international and professional bodies, including the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (United Kingdom), the Asian International Arbitration Centre (AIAC), and the International Trademark Association (INTA), among others.
He is a published author with over 41 articles on topical legal issues and a wide range of socio-economic and governance challenges confronting Nigeria. His articles are regularly published in major newspapers and online media platforms in Nigeria, including Vanguard, The Punch, Daily Independent, and Premium Times, among others.
Beyond legal practice, Daniel enjoys playing golf, engaging in fitness activities, travelling, and spending quality time with family and friends.
